On 28th September 2025, the legal team carried out a sensitisation on Religious Freedoms and Religious Persecution under the Arise Africa Campaign Project in partnership with Stretch for Hope Uganda (SHU).
This sensation was conducted across three churches and these covered the Anglicans, Pentecostals and Catholics.

The congregation in their respective churches were taught about religious freedom, the law regarding it and how to handle incidents of religious persecution. The church leaders and congregants were encouraged to make the church a safe space for victims of religious persecution, promote peace across their communities, to strongly advocate for the rights of the victims and to document and report any incidents of persecution.
The legal teams also conducted legal clinics after the church services and mass and over 400 congregants participated in this activity. The staff that were involved in this sensitisation were, Mr. Sabiiti Martin Rwabihurwa (CEO), Mr. Francis Nyakoojo (Head of Access to Justice Department), Mr. Innocent Tibanyendera (M&E), Ms. Nabijewa Martha (Project Asst.
